Valentine's Day

Hubby and I had a very low key Valentine's Day.  We are currently saving up for some big expenses / purchases in the near future so we decided to celebrate at home on Sunday.    I spent part of Sunday making candy with my son.  It was part of his gift for his girlfriend.  I knew keeping the leftovers in the house was a bad plan.  We made buckeyes, chocolate dipped vanilla cream cookies, and chocolate dipped strawberry marshmallows (heart shaped of course).

Breakfast -  Two Fiber One Key Lime Pie Yogurts

Lunch -      Ham sandwich with 2% Pepper jack cheese and mustard on whole grain bread
                  Carrot sticks
                  Fuji Apple

Snack -      Tootsie Roll pop

Dinner -     Honey Battered Chicken Tenders - 5 pcs
                 Corn - 1/2 Cup
                 Roll

Snack -     Tangerine
                Three Buckeyes (oops!)

I actually stayed close to my daily points allowance so I am pretty happy with my day.  I regret eating three of the buckeyes, but will not beat myself up about it.  Total denial of "goodies" will lead me to overeat the exact foods I am avoiding.
